Tomorrow I’ll be heading west to Cumberland, MD for DelFest. I hate Cumberland with the passion of a thousand men. I spent far too much time there a few years back…working on a never-ending project…that left me oh so bewildered. I hate Cumberland so much that I have erased it from my memory. To me it does not exist. It is an extended part of West Virginia creeping it’s way into Maryland. The catch is…I LOVE BLUEGRASS and therefor I am all too excited to head back again and attend DelFest. I won a pair of 4-day passes from WTMD and just couldn’t say no. If you like bluegrass and missed Merle Fest…this is the place for you. Four days of bluegrass and other types of live music in mountains…sounds like it could erase all other memories/nightmares from my previous Cumberland experiences.
