The Good, The Bad, and the Best Sh*t Ever

I can honestly say that I haven’t listened to Phish in over five years.  At one point in my life they were one of my favorite bands (ehem high school…Sublime…String Cheese Incident).  I was supposed to see them when I was 18.  It was in Camden, NJ, one of their, “last shows,” from when they went on hiatus.  My plans were foiled when I got into a car accident and needed crutches to walk.  No mud, no glow sticks, no Phish show for me.  They have come and gone since then…playing a slew of shows at Merriweather over the past few years.  For some reason, this year, I’ve decided to see them.  I figure at one point in my life…it was all I ever wanted, so why not experience it once and for all.  I won’t be listening to Phish before the show itself and I highly doubt I’ll listen to them after, but I plan on having a great time this Saturday night.
